How to use

1. Brush. Clean and dry the teeth so the gel sits on enamel, not on plaque.

2. Seat the tray. Take one tray from its sleeve, press it over the upper and lower teeth, then peel away the outer shell and leave the thin inner tray in place.

3. Wear it. 15–20 minutes for the 15% gel, 30–60 minutes for the 10%. Remove, rinse, brush. Once a day for 5–10 days.

The tray warms to body temperature and moulds itself around each tooth — there is nothing to fit or trim.

What’s inside
  • Hydrogen peroxide 10% or 15%
The active. Hydrogen peroxide releases oxygen into the enamel and breaks apart the stain molecules trapped inside it.
  • PF — potassium nitrate & fluoride
Potassium nitrate calms the nerve so the zingers stay away; fluoride hardens the enamel while you whiten.
  • 20%+ water content
At least 20% water in the gel, so teeth are not dehydrated during wear — the usual cause of whitening sensitivity.
  • Free from
Animal products, gluten and non-kosher ingredients. Vegan, certified gluten free, certified kosher.
How fast will I see it

Most people see a visible shift after three or four wears, with the full result across the ten-day course. The clinical before/after further down the page is from ten days of the 10% gel.

Whitening is not permanent. Coffee, tea, red wine and tobacco pull the shade back over months, which is why most people keep a second kit for a top-up.

The short version

Ten days. Fifteen minutes. No lamp, no lab, no impressions.

Most whitening asks you to build a routine around it — mixing gels, charging a light, sitting still with a cable running out of your mouth. This is a sealed tray that arrives already filled. You press it on, you get on with your morning, you take it out. That is the entire product.

Opalescence Go kit with prefilled trays

15–20 minutes a day

On the 15% gel. The 10% runs 30–60 minutes if you would rather go gentler over the same ten days.

Nothing to prepare

No impressions taken, no models poured, no custom tray to wait for. The kit works the day it lands.

No LED lamp

Lights do not change the outcome. Some research suggests they irritate lips and gums, so there is no lamp in the box.

The UltraFit prefilled whitening tray
The tray

It fits because it warms to you, not because it was moulded to you.

The UltraFit™ tray is made from a material that responds to the temperature inside your mouth. Within a minute of going in, it begins to soften around the biting surfaces and press into the gaps between teeth — which is what a custom tray does, without the appointment.

Molar to molar

Whitening strips reach the front six or eight teeth. The tray covers the whole arch, so the shade is even when you laugh, not only when you smile carefully.

Buccal to lingual

Gel sits on the outside and the inside of each tooth. Stains are not only on the side that faces the camera.

Two layers, one job

An outer shell holds the shape while you seat it, then peels away. What stays behind is thin enough to talk through.

Measured dose

Each tray holds the amount the arch actually needs — enough to work, little enough that cleanup is a rinse.

The routine

Press it on. Peel the shell. Carry on.

You can wear it while the coffee brews, on the train, or through a morning of email. It is discreet enough that most people keep working.

Wearing the Opalescence Go tray

Once a day for five to ten days. One kit holds ten trays — a complete course.

The result

Ten days on the 10% gel.

This is the manufacturer's own clinical photograph, shot under matched lighting before and after a full course. It is one person's result, not a promise — how far your own shade moves depends on what stained it and how long it has been there.

Before and after ten days of Opalescence Go 10% whitening
The gel inside the UltraFit tray
The gel

Most whitening hurts because it dries the tooth out.

Sensitivity during whitening is usually dehydration, not damage. A gel that pulls water out of the enamel leaves the nerve exposed to every temperature change for the rest of the day. This one is at least a fifth water by volume.

20%+ water content

Keeps the enamel hydrated through the wear, which is the difference between a comfortable course and one you abandon on day four.

Potassium nitrate

Settles the nerve inside the tooth. It is the same active that sensitivity toothpastes are built around.

Fluoride

Hardens the enamel surface while the peroxide works, rather than leaving it softened afterwards.

Mint or melon

Two flavours, both mild. You are wearing it for twenty minutes, so it matters more than it sounds.

Who it suits

Whitening that fits into a life you already have.

This is the take-home version of a treatment that used to require a chair, an appointment and a fitting. If you have had in-office whitening before, this is what dentists hand people to hold the result.

First time whitening

Start on the 10% and wear it longer. Gentler entry, same ten-day arc.

Topping up an in-office result

A course every few months holds the shade instead of letting it drift back.

Before something that matters

Ten days is the lead time. Count back from the wedding, not forward from the invitation.

Not for everyone

Crowns, veneers and fillings do not whiten — they stay the shade they were made. If your front teeth are restored, speak to a dentist first.

Questions

The ones worth answering

10% or 15% — which should I take?

Same destination, different pace. The 15% is worn 15–20 minutes a day; the 10% is worn 30–60 minutes. If you have never whitened before, or your teeth already react to cold, start on the 10% and give it the longer wear.

Will it make my teeth sensitive?

Some people get short zingers during a course, which fade after. The gel is built to reduce that — over 20% water so the tooth is not dehydrated, plus potassium nitrate for the nerve and fluoride for the surface. If it does bite, skip a day rather than pushing through.

Do crowns, veneers or fillings whiten too?

No. Peroxide works on natural enamel only. Restorations keep the shade they were manufactured in, so if you whiten the teeth around them the mismatch can become more obvious, not less. Worth a conversation with your dentist before you start.

Why is there no LED light in the kit?

Because the light does not change the result. That is the manufacturer's own position, and some research points to lights irritating lips and gums. What actually matters is peroxide concentration and contact time.

How long does the result last?

Months rather than years, and it depends entirely on what you drink. Coffee, tea, red wine and tobacco pull the shade back. Most people run a short top-up course a couple of times a year.

Can I eat or drink while wearing it?

No. Water aside, keep the mouth clear for the wear time. Afterwards remove the tray, rinse, and brush normally.

Is it safe if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?

Whitening is generally deferred during pregnancy and breastfeeding, not because harm is established but because it has not been studied enough to say otherwise. Ask your dentist or midwife.

When will my order arrive?

Orders ship within 24–48 hours and typically arrive in 5–10 business days, with a tracking number on every order.
