The Routine

Four seconds of extra effort.

There is no learning curve. If you can brush your teeth you already know how to use this — the only new step is the dip.

  1. 01

    Wet the brush

    Run it under the tap and tap off the excess. Damp, not dripping — the powder needs something to cling to.

  2. 02

    Dip or scoop

    Press the damp bristles straight into the jar, or lift a small scoop with the dry spatula and tap it over the brush.

  3. 03

    Brush and rinse

    Two minutes as usual. It foams far less than paste — that is the point, there is no detergent in it.

The rebuilder

The same mineral your enamel is made of, at two particle sizes. The fine grade settles into micro-defects on the surface; the larger grade adds bulk mineral back. This is the ingredient doing the remineralising.

Micro Pearl Powder

The polish

Finely ground natural pearl — calcium carbonate plus trace minerals. Hard enough to lift surface stain, soft enough not to scratch. It is also where the name comes from.

The mild abrasive that does the mechanical work: lifts film, removes stain, and drops acidity in the mouth while it does it.

Eggshell Powder

The calcium source

Unusually bioavailable calcium with trace minerals attached. Feeds the same remineralising process from a second direction.

Xylitol & Erythritol

The bacteria problem

Sweeteners that oral bacteria cannot metabolise. Streptococcus mutans — the strain behind most decay — starves on them. Erythritol outperforms xylitol here in head-to-head studies.

Sodium Bicarbonate

The pH lever

Neutralises the acid that erodes enamel between meals, and does gentle whitening work on the way past.

Calcium Bentonite Clay

The sponge

Binds bacteria, toxins and debris so they rinse away rather than resettle. Adds a light polishing action and its own mineral content.

Mastic, Mint & Eucalyptus

The freshness

Genuinely antimicrobial oils rather than flavouring. Mastic in particular has a long record against oral bacteria.

Before you switch.

How is this different from regular toothpaste?

It is a dry mineral powder rather than a wet paste, built on calcium carbonate, nano and micro hydroxyapatite, bentonite clay and micro pearl. No fluoride, parabens, glycerin or artificial flavour. Use it instead of your paste, or sprinkle it over your paste for a more thorough clean.

What should I expect it to do?

It supports enamel remineralisation and helps reduce plaque buildup. It freshens breath and gently lifts surface stain. The xylitol and erythritol in it are there because oral bacteria cannot feed on them.

How often should I use it?

Twice daily, morning and evening, as your main clean — or sprinkled onto your existing paste if you would rather ease into it.

Will it feel strange at first?

Probably, for about a week. It barely foams, because there is no detergent in it. Most people read foam as "clean", so the first few brushes feel like nothing is happening — then the smooth-teeth feeling takes over and paste starts to feel slimy by comparison.

What size is the jar and how long does it keep?

1.1 oz, roughly 2.5″ × 2.5″ × 2″. Shelf life is one year from production. Keep the spatula dry — moisture in the jar makes the powder clump.
